Focus and Scope

The aim of the Sri Lanka Journal of Marketing is to draw the attention of academia and practitioners to the new developments on Marketing Management and disseminate knowledge of research conducted by academics and practitioners in the disciplines of Marketing Management, Business and Strategy, Economics and Sustainability, Accounting and Finance and Services Management and Informatics. The scholars are open to publish their esteemed work in the international biannual refereed journal under the aforementioned disciplines.

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice

The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. Each author submitting his/her work to the journal for publication as original article attest that the submitted work represents the author’s contributions and has not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works. Each author acknowledges that he/she has disclosed all and any actual or potential conflict of interest with the work or any benefits associated with it. In the same manner, the journal is committed to objective and fair double-blind peer-review of the submission for publication and to prevent any actual or potential conflict of interest between the editorial and review personnel and the reviewed material. Any departure from the above-defined rules should be reported directly to the Editors-in-Chief, who are unequivocally committed to providing swift resolutions to any such a type of problem. Further to the above, the journal strives to follow the highest standards of publication ethics and the Code of Conduct for Journal Editors.

Publication Frequency

The Sri Lankan Journal of Marketing publishes two issues per year.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There is no embargo on the journal’s publications.

Archiving Policy

 This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
